Tom Murphy - Just can’t seem to get over his broken hand. He played well in the minors but is just 1 for 22 since coming back up to the majors. The Rockies have decided to option him back to Albuquerque for some more recovery work.

Murphy has struggled mightily at the plate since returning from the disabled list with a broken hand. He has hit .050/.136/.100—but that was in just eight games and 22 plate appearances. — Purple Row

Steve Geltz is still on the DL in Oklahoma City.

Burke was pulling down his ERA from an early season slump but the past couple of games have not helped his cause. Over the last two games Burke has put in four innings and has give up three runs, and two walks.

Nick Sinay is back off the 7 day DL and had one of his best days at the plate in a good long time. The game is not over yet but Sinay has is 2 for three with a run scored.

Mike Kaelin got his second win as a minor league player. He pitched 2.1 scoreless innings and brought his season ERA with the class A+ down to 2.84.

Blair Lakso pitched in two games. Two games, six innings and a single run against is a good start for the rookie in Elizabethton.

Finally Logan Harasta made his minor league debut. He pitched one inning, gave up two runs and took the loss.
