Kobe Green - Safety - Buffalo Bulls Recruiting

The Bulls are getting some solid recruiting in during the last two weeks before national signing day. A class of 9 has swollen to at least 13 with the recent additions.

One of those additions is Kobe Green, a safety from Deerfield Beach, Florida. In addition to the Bulls Green had offers from Temple, Fresno, Ball State, Idaho, and at least three football championship subdivision schools.

The Bulls defensive backfield struggled quite a bit this past season. The team was in the bottom half of the football subdivision in terms of opponents passer rating. UB was also tied with 12 other teams ranked 105th out of 128 for interceptions per game (0.5).

So to get a player holding offers from the AAC, the MWC, and the MAC for our backfield is a very good sign.

Scouts have said Green is a physical safety who makes good use of the five yard bump cushion and has good tackling fundamentals. The one knock on him seems to be that he does not possess explosive speed.
