Bowling Green-Buffalo first half recap
This has gone about as poorly as any UB fan expected. Bowling Green's offense has moved quickly and the Bulls are completely unable to cover WR Roger Lewis, who is up to 196 yards receiving.
Bowling Green's success or lack thereof is happening on big plays. Buffalo has gotten to Matt Johnson a bit, but can't get off the field, and the Falcon scoring drives have been built on long completions to Lewis and Ryan Burbrink.
On offense, UB is already in "Joe Licata air it out" mode and found some success moving the ball late in the half, but turned the ball over on downs on one drive and settled for a field goal on their final possession after a Marcus McGill touchdown was called off on a questionable offensive pass interference call.
Matt Weiser is UB's leading offensive weapon, with 7 catches for 76 yards.
