Christian Gonzalez - Defensive Tackle from Milford is a Buffalo Verbal

Buffalo head coach Lance Leipold may have his first verbal commitment as a Division 1 head coach. Yahoo is reporting that Christian Gonzalez a defensive tackle at the New Berlin Milford Academy has verbally committed to play his college football for the Buffalo Bulls.

Milford Academy is a post-secondary school founded in 1916 in Milford, Connecticut as Yale Preparatory School. In 2004 the school relocated to New Berlin, New York. It's also moved away from its roots as a pure college prep program and began Although originally founded as a preparatory school, its current focus is as a school for athletes who have proven it on the field but need a season or two af academic stewardship before entering college.

Last year Gonzalez had seven tackles and 2.5 sacks for Milford.

Before Milford Gonzalez attended Shabazz High School in Newark, New Jersey where he was ranked the #120 prospect in the state by Rivals.
