Buffalo has offered a scholarship to Evan Jansen who plays Tight End for Moeller High School in Mason Ohio The offer is only noted by scouting Ohio. The Offer was reported by ScoutinOhio. While Jansen is listed on the service scout.com his offer from Coach Quinn is not.
Jansen is second known tight end offered by Buffalo this season. The first offer went to Jake Butt who later accepted an offer from Michigan. The Bulls currently have five tight ends on the roster, three of those players, Dennison, Gordon, and Reeder, are upper classmen. So this position will be something of a big need in the next year or two.
The six foot five, 240 pound Jansen hauled in five reception for 90 yards last season. This year he has attended Nike NFTC combine, and camped at Notre Dame, Michigan State, and OSU. iHigh reports that he is interested most in Northwestern and Indiana. He visited the Hoosiers back in March but has not yet received an offer.
