There's a party going on right here
a celebration to last troughout the years.
So bring your good times and your laughter too
we're gonna celebrate your party with you !

And the UB Version

There's a party going on right here
a celebration for our first win this year
So bring your good times and your laughter too
we're gonna celebrate and hope we get two

It's a long time coming and it was certainly far from pretty but it was a game this team and its beleaguered fans really needed. These are the games that Buffalo has been losing for four years (yes going back to 2009 under Coach Gill).

This team did everything it could to let Miami escape with a win but The Fresh Prince, Devon Campbell, made up for a costly fumble by taking a last minute kickoff all the way to the Miami 33 yard line setting up the Bulls for a game winning field goal chance. One Branden Oliver run later (Oliver had 199 on the day) put Partick Clarke in position for a 47 yard field gaol which he nailed with time expiring.

It was Joe Licata's first start and he looked more than adequate. He had one or two painful misses to wide open receivers who could have taken it home but he was also cursed by several drops. Licata was 13 for 24 on the day racking up 127 yards. He also threw for two touchdowns versus one interception.

Licata did look like a freshman. He took to long when deciding to run the ball, he did not always progress through all of his reads, and he sometimes did not give the patterns enough time to develop. But it was the best passing Buffalo fans have seen all season.

At the end of the day we won, time to celebrate!
