The Bulls have had a tough time under first-year coach Jeff Quinn as well. Jerry Davis started the season at quarterback but wasn’t what Quinn was looking for to run the spread. Freshman Alex Zordich replaced him, but he is out with a rib injury, so Davis is back in. He has 14 touchdowns and 14 interceptions this season. The Bulls haven’t been helped by their lackluster run game, either. They have an NCAA-worst three rushing touchdowns this season.

Mark Lewandowski, Buffalo-Sophomore, Depew, N.Y. (Lancaster High School) Buffalo sophomore Mark Lewandowski finished second at the Body Bar Invitational Saturday in the 157-pound bracket. The tournament, hosted by #1 ranked Cornell, featured eleven teams. Lewandowski came out strong and won his first three matches over Ansom Worrell of Drexel (10-5), Anthony Priore of Sacred Heart (5-3) and Eric Cubberly of MAC rival Central Michigan, 3-2. His only defeat came in the finals, a loss to James Fleming of Clarion. Lewandowski, a business major, is now tied for the team lead in wins this season, with 11, including a team-leading 2-0 record in dual meets.
