Brandon Thermilus who five years ago came to Buffalo from Flower Mound Texas is out for the rest of the season. For the second straight year UB loses one of it's senior half backs at a critical point in the season. Last season UB lost James Starks before the season opener and now the Bulls lose a fixture back half way through Coach Jeff Quinn's first season.
Thermilus is no stranger to senior season injuries. While a senior at Marcus High School the tailback suffered through an injury-plagued season. He spent his first full year at UB recuperating from those injuries.
From 2007 to 2009 Thermilus missed only one game, stacking up an impressive set of Numbers during his tenure in the UB Backfield.

Were is not for his injury Thermilus would have likely worked his way into server categories of the UB all time record book. He was already tied for 10th all time in career 100 yard games and ust 142 yards of tenth spot for yards, two touchdowns short of the tenth spot, and is .04 short of the tenth spot for yards per carry.
