This is old news but somehow it fell between the cracks after Taylor and Forest got the ax last week.

UB, which already has 15 verbal commitments from high school seniors (list and map), is begining to go down the JuCo route to try and bring more pop to next years squad. The first on the list is Wyatt Cahill from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona.

Cahill who attended Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe had committed to Army.  After Attending the United States Military Academy Preparatory School in Monmouth, N.J. he elected not to attend Army. but decided, instead, to forgo that offer.

"When the time came to transition to West Point I decided to go in another direction, Going to prep school out of high school really gave me the chance to grow up, going from Arizona all the way to New Jersey.’’ -- Cahill to the Buffalo News

According to Rodney McKissic of the Buffalo News Cahill will be a mid year transfer so he will join the team in time for Spring practices.

The 6-foot-5, 280 defensive tackle will help to provide some depth on the defensive line.
