Quinn hits his twelfth recruit, Dale Stewart

Dale Stewart, the brother of UB Star, and Green Bay Packer Running back James Starks has reportedly made a verbal Commitment to Coach Jeff Quinn.

Dale Stewart, the younger brother of University at Buffalo career rushing leader James Starks, is following in his brother's footsteps and will attend UB. Stewart gave the school a verbal commitment this afternoon. -- Rodney McKissic, Buffalo News

Stewart is the fourth local recruit in Jeff Quinn's first class at Buffalo, Quinn has stated his first focus in recruiting was to assert UB's profile in its own back yard. Stewart joins John Kling (Depew), Bob Blodgett (Honeoye Falls-Lima), and  All time WNY TD leader Joe Licata (Williamsville South).

Coach Quinn wasted no time trying to get Stewart to stay in Western New York, Stewart was among the first offers extended by Jeff Quinn back in February.
