Katherine played less than her sister Liisa as a freshman and saw no time whatsoever over the final month of the season but for a few minutes against West Virginia.

Ups seemed a regular part of the rotation early as a freshman, averaging 16 minutes a game through the season's first two weeks, but never topping ten again. She scored 5 points and pulled down 5 rebounds in a good early-season win against Niagara but wasn't able to distinguish herself above an older group of guards.

2015-16 Outlook

For all the losses from last season, the only one from the guard rotation is Mackenzie Loesing, and there's a new wave of 5-9 and 5-10 freshman guards coming in behind Ups. We have to think she'll get some time in the exhibitions, but it's hard to see too many minutes behind Karin Moss, Stephanie Reid, Joanna Smith, Camera Miley, and Liisa among the experienced guards,
