UB's forward depth has been devastated by graduation, transfers, and NCAA rules. For the first semester UB will field only one forward with collegiate experience.
The Basics
Number: 23
Year: Freshman
Position: Forward
Hometown: Amstelveen, Netherlands
Height: 6-4
New Girl?
Yes, after verbaling to Buffalo last April.
Before UB
Scheper has experience in the Dutch National Team training program, having represented the Netherlands since the U 16 level. This summer she competed on both the national U20 and U18 teams in the respective European Championships.
At the U20 tournament, Scheper played 6.5 minutes in six of nine games, for 0.7 points and 1.8 rebounds a contest. In the U18s, she played closer to 20 minutes, averaged roughly four points and rebounds a game to go with more than a full block per game.

2015-16 Outlook
It's anyone's guess what the forward lineup will look like both before and after the conclusion of the fall semester, when Cassie Oursler regains eligibility. Scheper is one of a number of freshmen behind Mariah Suchan, and we could see the lineup change drastically from week to week early in the season depending on who among Scheper, Tamara Brcina, and Courtney Wilkins impresses.
