Buffalo Men's Swimming and Diving MAC Championships Video Preview

It's a video, but you may just want to listen to it in the background.

I ran out of time this week, so here's a post-morning run video preview of this week's MAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, where UB sits second after the first night of competition. Crib notes: Unlike fellow frontrunners Missouri State and Eastern Michigan, the Bulls don't have an event where they can dominate the finals and will need consistent depth in both the finals and consolations across this meet to run with those two at the top of the conference.

Today's competition sees the 50 and 500 free, 200 IM, 1m dive, and 200 free relay. Look for the Bulls to earn a ton of points from the first two. After Scott Huang in the 200 IM things are a little thinner, and the Buffalo divers don't actually have seeds scores listed, but UB is the top seed (by a hair) in the relay. With strong performances in the freestyle events, especially from the depth, Buffalo could be sitting first after tonight heading into the meat of the program.
