Swimming and Diving through two days at Bucknell

Matt Gritzmacher

Through two days at the Bucknell Invitational, both sides of UB Swimming and Diving are in the upper groups of the nine-team field, with the men sitting second and the women a Friday disqualification away from being a hair off the two-spot. Thirteen events - seven for the men, six for the women - remain for tomorrow's action, with prelims at 10:00 AM and finals at 5:00 PM.

Each team has quite a bit of room both above and below them, but in total have claimed seven event wins with a chance to add more tomorrow:

Men

200 free relay: Antonio Lanzi, Itai De La Vega, Eric Jensen, Mason Miller - 1:22.17
1 meter diving: Nick Rodriguez - 333.00
200 IM: Scott Huang - 1:48.63 (NCAA B Cut)
50 Free: Lanzi - 20.57

*Miller didn't win the 100 Fly, but did post a season best by two full seconds and post the 5th-fastest time ever for UB.

In addition to the final results tomorrow, I'll have a list of the new UB season bests from this weekend.
