West Hills linebacker Caleb Wilson commits to Buffalo Football

This one didn't trip any of my Twitter filters, but three days ago Lance Leipold added another name to his first full class, and it's another JUCO player in 6-1, 235-lb (or 6-2, 250 depending on who you ask) linebacker Caleb Wilson from West Hills Community College in Coalinga, CA.

Originally from Norfolk, VA, Wilson tallied 72 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two interceptions in 11 games with the Falcons in 2015, named the Golden Coast League Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore. The Falcons went 9-2 and 6-0 in conference while sporting a rush defense that allowed under 80 yards/game.

Wilson played for Granby High School in Norfolk, but graduated in 2013. I'm unsure where he played in 2014. As a senior, though Wilson was a First Team All-Eastern District selection thanks to 85 tackles, five pass breakups and four interceptions. Rivals site VirginiaPreps.com named him All-Eastern Region.

Between Wilson and last week's flurry of JUCO names, we haven't updated our recruiting database and map, but expect that soon.
