It's been a while since Lance Leipold and his staff pulled in a new commitment, but last night added #12 to their 2016 class in JUCO linebacker Khalil Hodge.

Hodge, originally from Stockton, CA, has played this year at the City College of San Francisco. At St. Mary's he was the leading tackler in the state, averaging nearly 19 a game, but decided not to commit on either of two FCS offers and work for an FBS scholarship. His Rams are 11-1 this season and will compete in the state title game this Saturday.
At 6-2, 240, Hodge will bring some heft to a young linebacking corps that performed well this season, but was undersized as a result of UB's move to a 4-3 defense.
Khalil also reports offers from Florida A&M and Idaho, while he was offered by Sacramento State and Weber State out of high school. Watch more of his highlights here.
