Olympic Rundown podcast: Big weekend for Women's Tennis

We're back to our normal 10:00 PM Sunday time slot this week, though I am without John and handling a one man show. Fortunately, UB gave us plenty to talk about even without a football week. If you had to stomach two awful games from your other football teams, as I did, then it's an even better weekend.

On the docket tonight:

The headliners: Women's Tennis went ham on a bunch of other folks, dominating their own invitational.

Also in action: Rowing in Connecticut and Men's Tennis in New Hampshire. All three of the big fall team sports saw action at home, with Men's Soccer falling narrowly to #8 Akron, Women's Soccer getting a road tie and a great win this afternoon, and Volleyball dropping a pair.

Individually, UB had plenty of standout performances, but the biggest may be McKenzie White of Women's Soccer. I'll reference this in the podcast, but here's the must-read link to her story.

The week ahead sees most everyone who is in action competing at home, and otherwise a single, massive opportunity for the Cross Country teams. Women's Soccer and Volleyball each have a pair of matches, while Men's Soccer has one, and Swimming and Diving brings in Cornell for their second competition of the year. Cross Country travels to Louisville for pre-Nationals against one of the more stacked fields they've seen in a long time.

I'm live, as always, at 10:00.
