The watch-list accolades keep rolling in for Buffalo Bulls football as Khalil Hodge, Chuck Harris, and Anthony Johnson were named to the Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List on Wednesday.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl, held in January and running 70 years strong, is the premier college football all-star game and showcases the best players that completed their NCAA eligibility. The exposure given from an appearance in the game would be huge for any player on a mid-major team like Buffalo. Such a feat would especially help the draft stock of Johnson, who many have being picked up by an NFL team in the first day of the draft.

Despite seeing limited time, all three of UB’s players on the list made significant contributions in Saturday’s contest against Delaware State, which saw the Bulls win in dominant fashion, 48-10. Hodge and Harris compiled 8 and 4 tackles on the evening respectively, with the latter of the two also snatching up a fumbled ball. With loaded receiving corps, Johnson still managed a 57-yard, one-touchdown effort.

The trio of players will look to build on their strong start this Saturday when the Bulls face their first FBS opponent at Temple. If Hodge, Harris, and Johnson can keep putting up big numbers, there’s a good chance that at least a couple of them will be selected for the Senior Bowl.
