November 24, 2007 - UB 30, Kent State 23 (OT)

The 4-7 Bulls took on the 3-8 Flashes with UB's 2 game win streak against KSU on the line. UB attempted to win their final game for the first time in FBS and win a FBS team record 5 games.

In a back and forth game, Kent took a 13-3 lead after one quarter, UB fought back to take a 16-13 lead before Kent took a 23-16 lead. Drew Willy responded by completing 8 of 9 passes for 69 yards ending with a 4-yard TD pass to Brett Hamlin. On the ensuing drive, Kent drove to the UB 12 yard line, but their 29-yard field goal attempt was blocked by Labinot Hakanjin to send the game to overtime.

In OT UB received the ball first. Willy threw two passes to Ernest Jackson and Brett Hamlin to get the Bulls down to the 3-yard line. Brandon Thermilus barrelled in four plays later to give UB a 30-23 lead. On Kent's possession, Anthony Magazu was sacked by Larry Hutchinson on 4th and 9 for the game and season ending play.

Starting with the Kent game and ending with the 2008 Bowling Green game, UB went to overtime five times over the course of 12 games. UB went 4-1 in those games.
