Iowa State quarterback Grant Rohach has announced he will transfer from the Cyclones to Buffalo. This past season Rohach was a third string junior who will graduate in December and be eligible to play effective immediately per graduate transfer rules.
It's official, I will be a Buffalo Bull next year!

At ISU Rohach started five games, leading the Cyclones to back to back victories in 2013 against Kansas and West Virginia. During his Iowa State career he completed 137 of 245 career passes for 1,459 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He went to Iowa State from Moorpark, California, where he was a three-star recruit and also had an offer from Western Michigan.
The addition of an eligible Rohach will complicate the quarterback competition at Buffalo where Lance Leipold needs to replace four year starter and school record holder Joe Licata.
Presumably the competition will be between Rohach, redshirt freshman Tyree Jackson, and sophomore Chris Merchant.
