Among UB's eight new faces today was defensive back Tim Roberts, who we knew had taken a visit to Buffalo recently, but hadn't seen word of an official commitment. Roberts has played two years at Fullerton College.

Measuring in at 6-2, 195, Roberts also had offers this cycle from Idaho and Northwestern State while receiving interest from Illinois. In his time at Fullerton he's racked up six interceptions and 75 tackles after a high school career as a linebacker in Hahnville, Louisiana, where he also played basketball and baseball and carried a 3.4 GPA.
I can't find much on Edwards' recruitment out of high school, but he did receive recognition after attending a camp at Alabama.
