Flip the script in this week's two-deep, where the offense is relatively stable, but the defense apparently loses some big names to injuries from NIU.
There's some shuffling on the offensive line rotation, but the starters have settled in after the Dillon Guy injury, and it seems Brandon Manosalvas is ready to play again. Albert McCoy moves into a back up role.
On defense, however, Buffalo will need a strong showing from the front seven. Brandon Crawford and Boise Ross both left last week's contest with injuries, and neither is listed for this week. Charles Harris moves up at defensive end with Randy Anyanwu backfilling, and at cornerback Cam Lewis is in for a full game's worth of reps while Brandon Williams will backup both he and Marqus Baker.
For this week at least, Buffalo could get away with it: Akron rushes the ball 57% of the time while completing less than half of its passes.
