Jordan comes to Buffalo after playing at Montverde Academy, a highly distinguished basketball program that has produced NBA talents like Joel Embiid, D’Angelo Russell, and Ben Simmons. While there, he served as backup point guard behind the likes of four star recruit Howard Washington. Jordan is rated as a three star recruit and the 30th best point guard in the nation by ESPN.

While what he does on the court doesn’t always wow those in attendance, it his ability to create for others within the half-court setting, defend various spots on the floor, and also convert within the traffic that displays just how productive he can be at the next level.

2016-17 Outlook

The biggest question of this year’s squad is still on who will be the starting point guard this season. Jordan definitely has a good shot at assuming that role. He brings ball handling skills similar to what Lamonte Bearden had and a stronger finishing ability. What lacks for this recruit is his shooting capability and time will tell if that gets better. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that he’ll probably be getting minutes off of the bench for this season.
