The last weekend for the Buffalo Bulls basketball team was the toughest for this team yet. After playing #4 Iowa State and #7 Duke really well at points, the Bulls get a break and face an easier opponent. Binghamton is a SUNY rival out of the America East Conference and is priding itself on the great play of freshman Emerson Davis. The Bearcats still seem to be rebuilding after the fallout of the program from it's scandal in 2009. UB should use this game as a medium to show how much they've improved after playing two very challenging opponents in the span of three days.

Let's start out and say that Binghamton doesn't shoot the ball well, which is good considering we've had the same troubles. Marlon Beck seems to be the biggest threat as he's hitting 44% of his threes. For the most part, this team's size is on par with us so there's no help there. Binghamton is probably going to be playing at a pace they don't like, as the Bulls are averaging 75 points per game while the Bearcats are averaging only 62. If we control the pace, things could go sour for the Bearcats.
Notable Opponents
- Lost to St. Bonaventure (UB lost to them)
- Lost to #3 Michigan State
- Plays Vermont twice (UB won against them)
Can We Win?
This is a good game to get the Bulls back to .500 in the Win/Loss column. It's unacceptable to lose to an America East team, let alone another school in the State University of New York system. This is probably the biggest game for Binghamton left on their OOC schedule so let's put them away and make them know that they aren't on the same level as us. Easy win for Buffalo if they play well.
