Massinburg is, as far as I can tell, UB's first Texan since at least before Reggie Witherspoon arrived on campus. He's got experience on winners there, going 30-5 on 22 points a game as a senior at South Oak Cliff on his way to Class 5A All-State recognition.

2015-16 Outlook

The last three seasons have seen three guards step in and play regular minutes as freshmen for the Bulls, and this year it looks like Nick Perkins will play regularly at forward, but even with Shannon Evans gone to transfer it looks like this will be a growing year for Massinburg. I wouldn't count him out, because he's played with lots of winners and everyone raves about his potential, but I don't think that will shine through immediately.
