Buffalo’s 2021 full slate of games is set, all that remains is some dates and times.
Non Conference Slate
It’s a nice layout, made so by the strong season Coastal Caronlina just finished. UB has their FCS (tune up) game, a winnable P5 game, a solid home game against a 2020 ranked opponent, and one more winnable G5 game.
Depending on how the team fills the holes left after attrition anywhere between two and four wins here is possible.
- Wagner (Home) - 9/4
- Nebraska (Road) - 9/11
- Coastal Carolina (Home) - 9/18
- Old Dominion (Road) - 9/26
Conference Home Games
Hopefully we are have fans at home next season, if we do Buffalo has Ohio coming in for what is usually a very important game in the MAC East.
- Bowling Green
- Ohio
- Northern Illinois
- Western Michigan
Conference Road Games
Kent and Miami on the road may be a challenge, both teams are very solid and should compete for the East. Ball State is returning 20 of their starters from a ranked conference champion.
- Akron
- Kent State
- Miami (OH)
- Ball State
While Buffalo has not managed to win a conference title they are as healthy a program has they have ever been lately.
In the past three seasons division titles, three bowl appearances with two wins, and a top 25 ranking. On paper the team might take a step back next season, but the last time we looked to be “rebuilding” in 2019 The Bulls won their first Bowl Game.
