Buffalo Bulls Fall To Dartmouth in Season Opener

NCAA Basketball: Dartmouth at Buffalo Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

UB started the night by raising a banner from their 2018-2019 season and a desire to protect the nations second longest home winning streak in college basketball alive.

But the new look Bulls were not ready for Dartmouth. UB came out of the gate playing the worst Basketball the school has seen since 2012. The poor shooting from everywhere, and the lack luster defense let Dartmouth build up a 17 point lead by the time the second haf was 10 minutes old.

Buffalo found their footing late in the half and make a great run to close to within one point near the end of the game but when it came time to be clutch, it was the Big Green who made the rebounds, who capitalized at the free throw line, and who in the end proved top be the better team.

We’re going to have more on this game tomorrow but everyone knew there was going to be a learning curve for Buffalo, apparently it’s a steep one.
