ubbulls.com

After having their home win streak snapped to open the season the UB Bulls used their DIII tuneup game to start a new one. Six Bulls scored over ten point each as UB routed Nazareth 109-72.

Nazareth got out to a fast start, taking a quick 8-2 lead but once the Bulls found their footing they jumped to a 36-27 lead and ran the floor the rest of the night.

The big up side for Buffalo was that they shot well from everywhere. After atrocious shooting against Dartmouth the Bulls went 56% from the floor and 51% from beyond the arc.

Segu and Graves each finished with 17 points in the contest. Mballa finished with 14 points and nine rebounds and Williams, Johnson, and Grant all knotched 12 points.

Redshirt freshman LaQuill Hardnett and freshman Savion Gallion each scored their first career points as both finished with five. Gallion added three steals and a pair of rebounds.

UB’s next game is on Saturday, in Toronto, against Harvard as part in the Naismith Hall of Fame Classic.
