In front of 2,000 students and 4,700 plus community members the Buffalo Bulls beat the Western Michigan Broncos 92-86. With the win UB bounces back from a loss at Kent Earlier in the week.

Outside of a 50 second stint in the first half UB led or was tied the entire game. The Bulls held the lead for the final 34 minutes and 37 seconds of the contest.

The Bulls had a hot hand, shooting 57% from the floor and 47% from beyond three. CJ Buckets led UB with 26 point on a 59% shooting night.

UB also got huge contributions from Jeremy Harris (16), who made all four of his 3-point attempts, Nick Perkins (17), and Wes Clark (13).

WMU’s star, Thomas Wilder, did everything he could do to keep the Bronco’s in the game. He scored 34 points and was an impressive 10 of 17 from the field.

The Bulls built up a 12 point lead on a Massinburg 3 pointers with 1:45 left but sloppy play let the Broncos get back to within two scores (84-90) with 20 seconds left in the game.

The Bulls next game is Tuesday in mount Pleasant, facing off against the Chips at 7:00. The game will be shown on ESPN3
