Khalil Mack:
Mack finally got the Butkus Award. I did not know there was a “professional version” but, there is and Mack won it. It was presented by Dick Butkus himself at a surprise ceremony put on by the Raiders.
That was a nice gesture by the Raiders who seem like the kind of team who will hopefully keep Mack for his entire career. One fan is betting on that, inking himself with an image of Mack.
James Starks:
Still not on a roster but there are some who thinks he may be just what the doctor ordered to add some experience in Arizona.
Branden Oliver:
BO is looking healthy enough that our friends over at “Bolts From The Blue” think he’s pretty likely to hold his roster spot.
Kristjan Sokoli:
Sokoli was a victim to roster cuts. The Colts needed some room and saw the defensive lineman as a guy they could cut to make space.
Steven Means:
The news is better coming out of Philly. Marcus Smith skipped OTA’s and means looked good. Steven is now projected to be on the 53 man roster.
Mason Schreck:
Gotta hand it to the guys over at Cincy Jungle... Their preseason coverage is very thorough. They think Schreck is a long shot to make this year’s roster but believe the Bengals should “stash him” on the practice squad and develop him.
But in another article at the Jungle they think that the new single day roster cutdown will give him a chance if he shines every time he plays.
