It’s the time of year we find out who is becoming a Bull and who has decided to finish their college careers somewhere else.
One player leaving Buffalo this year is Defensive End Randy Anyanwu. The would be Junior is leaving the Bulls to play for North Carolina Central of the MEAC.
Randy had dropped a commitment to WKU and picked Buffalo back in 2014. He also selected Buffalo over offers from Marshall, Old Dominion, Georgia State, Texas Tech, UAB, and West Virginia.
In High School Anyanwu was a Georgia Sports Writers Association all-state second team selection on the defensive line as he helped lead the Lovejoy Wildcats to a perfect league season and an appearance in the 2013 Georgia Boys State Football Playoff Brackets.
At UB the would be Junior became a special teams player who recorded ten tackles in 21 games as a Bull.
The Bulls inked a couple of defensive ends this class and have depth at the position so the impact of Anyanwu leaving will be mostly confined to special teams.
