Buffalo Bulls Hire Jim Zebrowski as Quarterbacks Coach

NCAA Football: Buffalo at Penn State Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

The departure of Matt Simon last month left the Bulls in need of a running backs coach. Simon was a long time member of the staff, going back to the Jeff Quinn era. He took a job as the offensive coordinator at Delaware.

The Bulls, rather than hiring a running backs coach hired Jim Zebrowski, formerly of Minnesota, as a quarterbacks coach. Football Scoop is also saying that UB offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki will coach the running backs.

Zebrowski was a member of Jerry Kills staff at both NIU and Minnesota. Over the course of 6 years he developed quarterbacks.

The connection to Leipold comes from being the offensive coordinator quarterback coach at Wisconsin-Whitewater for three seasons.

Zebrowski was named the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year and the FootballScoop.com Division III Coordinator of the Year in 2009.
