Bulls take on Jacksonville State

It’s been six years since the Bulls have started a hoops season 2-0. Thanks to a close win over Canisius the other night they have a chance to do just that when Buffalo hosts Jacksonville State tonight in Alumni Arena.

Jacksonville State won the OVC conference tournament last season and are already off to a 2-0 start this season. They are a balanced team mainly led by Christian Cunningham, who averages a double-double, and Marlon Hunter who leads the team with 11.5 points.

They also have a big 7 footer down low who is averaging 11 points a game.

All in all this is going to be a real test for Buffalo, who struggled against Canisius over the weekend. Nick Perkins, who recorded 26 points in that game, is going to have to step up again.

The game is going to be on ESPN3 and the best place to chat with other UB fans is our game thread
