After winning their second consecutive MAC Men's Basketball Championship, the Buffalo Bulls are set to go for a road trip in late August. The Bulls will be venturing out to Ontario, Canada for two games and they will travel down to the Bahamas to play two more. These will be the first games played with incoming players Brock Bertram, Quate McKinzie, James Jones, and Dontay Caruthers.
The Bulls will begin their trip with a game against the University of Guelph Gryphons on August 20th. The Gryphons are a part of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIU) and finished their previous season with a 9-10 record. The York University Lions — another CIU team — will host the Bulls on the following day. The Lions finished the previous season with a 2-17 mark.
Buffalo will then take a plane ride to play an August 23rd matchup with the College of The Bahamas Caribs. While in the Bahamas, the Bulls will play the Real Deal Shockers two days later. Both teams have participated in the New Providence Basketball Association this past season and garnered 10-4 and 8-6 records respectively.
If anymore information comes up about these exhibition games, we will keep you posted.
