Buffalo Bull Marqus Baker Invited to Tampa Bay Buccaneer Minicamp

Marqus Baker, a hard hitting corner back for the Buffalo Bulls, has earned a mini camp invitation with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFC South. Should he show the right stuff in mini camp he will join fellow UB Alumnus Jake Schum as they both battle for a roster spot.

Baker hails from Tampa. He came to Buffalo in 2011 from Robinson high school. After using his red shirt in 2011 baker played in the nest 25 games for Buffalo and he took a starting job midway through the season.

During his senior year Baker played in all twelve UB game, totaling 71 tackles with 51 of those being solo tackles. He also had 22 pass breakups and an interception.

He joins other class of 2016 Bulls Joe Licata, Matt Weiser, and John Kling teammates as Bulls trying to break into the NFL as undrated rookies.
