feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Basketball season is here! It's a promising time where the Buffalo Bulls feel as if another MAC championship title is looming. While the team did lose star point guard Lamonte Bearden in the off season, the additions of DaVonta Jordan and Dontay Caruthers should help ease the transition. This team returns its four best players in Blake Hamilton, Willie Conner, CJ Massinburg, and Nick Perkins. There is depth at the center position which leaves me to be optimistic about this season.
The Bulls start the season with they're younger sibling of a university in Niagara. Buffalo has absolutely dominated NU in the past two years only losing one game in one sport. Without keeping you waiting any longer, because the off season is long enough, here are your quick facts about today's game.

Okay so first off I apologize about the chart. I know nothing special about Shane Gatling but I can't seem to make his name small. Technology and I do not get along. But I hope I get some slack, because well, it's still basketball season. I hold such optimism about this upcoming season. I feel a title or bust attitude which does scare me. The Daemen scrimmage felt like a bit of a reality check, but I also believe Nate Oats was using it to test out his young players.
I believe we will see more from Ikenna Smart and Raheem Johnson as we pound Niagara inside. We are the better team and I expect to walk away with a win tonight. That being said, as we learned during football season, don't take anything for granted. Be excited Bulls fans, but hope that the players play every game like Cleveland.
