One of the few really good pieces of news from last weeks game was the fact that Buffalo wide receiver Jacob Martinez saw the field.

Martinez, a Junior, injured his shoulder in the off season and has been marked "out indefinitely" through the first five games. Last season Martinez caught 15 passes for 153 yards, during his career he has 433 yards and four touchdowns.

After the graduation of Ron Willoughby and the transfer of Collin Lisa back to UAB, it was expected that Martinez would have a big role this season.

Martinez is a fast receiver who has done well in his career turning inside slants and short routes into medium to long gains. It's a welcome addition to UB's receiving corps.

He is replacing Anthony Johnson as the guy behind Malcolm Robinson.

The only other changes to this weeks depth chart are at punt returner. Jamarl Eiland takes over the duties from Cameron Lewis. Lewis is now backing up Eiland and Tatum Slack is not on the depth chart.
