I hope everybody enjoyed the holiday, and after a silent day on the UB Athletics front only one team is in competition today.

The Rundown

Tonight in Bull: Men's Basketball heads to Oxford to take on Miami of Ohio - the game will be broadcast on ESPN 3.

Yesterday's News: Tim wrapped up UB alumni currently playing in the NFL's individual seasons after the final Bulls' teams were eliminated from playoff contention. Matt posed some big picture questions for the Women's basketball team as they delve deeper into MAC-play.

From the Fanshots: The Women's Tennis team was picked to finish 3rd in the MAC.

On the Docket: As usual, a GameThread will be posted before tip of the Men's basketball game so be sure to head over there to chat during the game. Immediately after the end of the game an instant recap will be posted as well.

Elsewhere:

After reports had been leaked that indicated major match-fixing in professional tennis, including at Grand Slam events, Novak Djokovic has come forward saying that he was offered $200,000 to throw a match in 2007.

Due to recent outbreaks of e. coli and other bacteria at numerous stores, including some in the Buffalo area, Chipotle will be temporarily closing all stores on Februrary 8th to hold a meeting to discuss food safety.
