Buffalo Bulls Football Recruiting - Antonio Nunn

It's been a long time since UB had a stable of big receiving threats. Could Antonio Nunn become a member of such a unit.

The Buffalo Bulls passing game was down in 2015. Some of that was Licata, some was the line, and some was a perceived lack of speed at the wide out spot. Compounding things is that the Bulls are losing their number one and number two receivers.

With Ron Willoughby and Marcus McGll it will be up to gusy like Jacob "J-Mart" Martinez and "Showtime" Collin Lisa to lead the receiving corps. Coming to UB this summer will be Tampa Bay's Antonio Nunn, who played wideout for Jefferson high school.

Jefferson lost their quarterback to injury early in the season but that did not stop Nunn from getting an honorable mention on Tampa BayTimes all-Hillsborough County football team

On the season Nunn caught 27 passes for 526 yards and three touchdowns. The most impressive part of that is his 19 plus yards per catch average.

Nunn picked Buffalo over offers from Georgia State and Coastal Carolina. I'm not sure he sees the field coming this year but he reportedly has good speed and that's a big need for UB's receiving corps. Coach Leipold has also shown a willingness to play true freshman, see Johnathan Hawkins.

So this summer, in the month leading up to the season, it's probably worth it to keep an eye on Nunn and where he fits into UB's receiving corps.
