The first Bull to make one of this years post season All Star games is record setting Quarterback Joe Licata. Licata will take place in the inaugural "Tropic Bowl".  The Bowl is an all-new FBS College Football All Star Game in Miami, FL. The event takes place from January 15th-17th. The Game is at North Miami Stadium and practices at FIU.

While this season and the offensive adjustments that came along blunted Licata's number a bit there is no doubt he is one of the top three quarterbacks to ever play for the school. He, Drew Willy, and John Stofa are heads and shoulders above most other UB quarterbacks.

Licata finished with a 21-19 record, the first UB QB of consequence to finish with a winning record and threw 76 TDs against just 37 interceptions.

Despite a rough 2015 Licata still comes out on top of almost every meaningful statistical category in Buffalo's history. The chance to play in a post season all star game will provide Licata with a chance to impress NFL scouts before UB's pro day and to end his career on a winning note.
