In the final game for coach Craig Cirbus, the Bulls trailed 17-6 en route to another loss. Despite Miami advancing inside the UB 40 nine times, UB held Miami at 17 thanks to 5 forced turnovers. With 18 seconds left in the 1st half, Joe Freedy hit Dahnel Singfield from 13 yards out to make the score 17-13. As snow fell, UB failed to take the lead form the 3, but kicked a 20-yard field goal to make the score 17-16. With 7:24 remaining, UB's game winning 21-yard field goal went over the right upright, and the official deemed it would have bounced out had it been lower, to Buffalo's dismay. UB would never get another scoring chance, and despite their valiant 2nd half effort, earned their 9th loss of the year to finish the season 2-9.
