Outlook: Kendall Patterson is the presumed starter, but it seems the FB position is called on to catch from time to time in the Leipold offense. I think whoever has the best hands between Molnich, Patterson, and fellow Sophomore Joe Schillace will have the most impact in 2015.

October 27, 2001 - UB 20, EMU 24
After a back and forth 1st half that ended in a 10-10 tie. UB took control of the game in the 2nd half. A Dallas Pelz field goal and a 44-yard pass from Joe Freedy to Maurice Bradford gave UB a 10-point lead going into the fourth quarter.
EMU scored two touchdowns in the first 7 minutes of the 4th to take a 24-20 lead, and the EMU shut down the Bulls offense. With a minute left, UB drove to the 31-yard line before failing to convert on 4th down, giving EMU the comeback win.
UB ran 80 plays, gaining 4.4 yards per play. Joe Freedy threw 45 times, completing 20 for 242 yards and two TDs, including one to running back Marquis Dwarte, the first receiving TD of his career.
