Cortney Lester, who was selected to play in the Broward County All-Star game during his senior year of High School will head from Buffalo back to the sunshine state. Lester will be attending the minicamp put on by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After coming to Buffalo Lester moved to defensive backfield and earned the starting job as a redshirt freshman in 2011. Over a four year career at UB Lester would become one of the top 5 UB pass defenders of all time.
At Buffalo's pro day Lester had a 40 Yrd Dash of 4.76, 10 reps at 225, and a 20 yard shuffle of 4.21.
Redden joins Adam Redden, Andre Davis, Jake Silas, and Trevor Sales as UB players who went undrafted and will still end up in an NFL mini camp. Aside from those players Kristjan Sokoli was drafted in the 6th round by Seattle.
