It's never too early to make our predictions for Lance Leipold's first season with UB Football

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

It's March, which as we all know is an important time in the college sports year. We're now just six months from college football.

As a result, I don't need much of an explanation. Here are the Bull Run editors' Way Too Early Season Predictions. Maybe with luck, we'll have another edition over the summer when I've learned more.

Tim Conrad Dave Matt John
Albany W W W W W
Penn State L L L L L
FAU W W W W W
Nevada L W L L W
BGSU L L W L L
CMU W W L W W
Ohio L W L L W
Miami W W W W W
Kent W W L W W
NIU L L L L W
Akron L W W W W
UMass W W L L W

I built the table wrong and am not going back to fix it, but to save you counting up the Ws and Ls, we've got a pretty big spread in opinion this year:

Tim: 6-6
Conrad: 9-3
Dave: 5-7
Matt: 6-6
John: 10-2

I won't reproduce everyone's entire thoughts here, but you can read Conrad's at this link, published yesterday, and I'll add a few highlights from the rest of us:

TIM

'I'm seeing maybe six wins...'

DAVE

FAU - "Will be coming off a tough Miami team. This game will be dependent on Licata. This game will show what the season entails."

JOHN

Kent State - Win, Our equipment truck makes it there in one piece and we open up a can of whoop ass on the Flashes.
NIU - Win, Call me an optimist but I think LL Cool Coach starts winning and doesn't stop.

As for me, I'm probably pessimistic on the games I see as closer calls: Ohio and UMass.

***

Don't forget, that last year in June, Dave accurately picked the entire season. Except for Kent being cancelled. Silly Dave. So close.
