New Rankings have Buffalo at #15

Buffalo let Syracuse come back and win in the third period and that game costs the Bulls a place in the rankings. Still UB's current ranking is tied for 15th with Niagara.  Buffalo gets the edge because of a better ranking in the USHSHO.com "1 Goal" Poll.

Despite the win it looks like Syracuse will fall a spot to #20 which may not be enough to get them an at large to nationals.

For Buffalo the challenge will now be winning big against the meager competition left on their schedule.

The Bulls face Cortland, Binghamton, and Saint Bonaventure. Those teams rank 42, 56, and 53 out of the 54 teams in the ACHA. Close wins may cost UB a spot or two in the rankings, right now it's looking like the top 17 or 18 teams  will go to nationals along with John Carroll and perhaps one or two league winners.

This weekend the Bulls take to the road for games against Cortland on Friday and Binghamton on Saturday. We will be tweeting the results as they come in.
