Senior Salutes Mikel DeMonte

After playing his prep ball at Brockport, where he was named a New York State Public High School Athletic Association awards Scholar Athlete, Mikel Demonte moved on to play receiver for the Hudson Valley Vikings.

During his sophomore year with Hudson Valley he was one of the teams utility receivers. Pulling in 24 receptions for 156 yards and a touchdown. When he finished at Hudson Mikel transferred to UB.

He walked onto the team and instantly showed pretty good hands in practice. But with a crowded receiver depth chart DeMonte's main role has been on the scout team. While contributing to the team DeMonte has been majoring in business administration.
