Depth Chart For Central Michigan

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Hard work on special teams gets you on the two deep. Or at least that is what the comments in UB's game note 2 deep would have you think.

Houston Glass has been a reliable coverage guy on special teams for two years. He has also been having a good campaign this season.

Because of that he has slid into the second safety slot. Right behind Ryan Williamson.

Glass came to UB two seasons ago from East Kentwood High School in Michigan. He was a All-Conference and All-Area West team member in both his junior and senior seasons.

He is averaging nearly one tackle a game for the Bulls and might be ready for the expanded role.

The other change on this weeks depth chart is true freshman Brandon Stanback getting the start at strong safety.

Stanback was playing prep ball for Bishop McDevitt this time last year. He racked up 103 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble his senior season.

The PA Football News All-State First Team, Penn Football Writers All-State, and EasternPAFootball.com Big School First Team star will now have a chance to shine in Division one ball.

Andrews Dadeboe slides into the second spot to make room for Stanback.

Everyone on the defensive backfield's two deep will be tested this week by a pass oriented CMU offense. Cooper Rush throws the ball a lot and it will be up to the DB's to slow down the Chips.
