So for two weeks us BRuWPEGers will not get a chance to see what team UB will be this year. As confident as I am not about a win this week, I am just as confident for a win in two weeks. I know it is tough to pick against the Bulls but we have had a nice run and that should continue after this week.
Baylor is coming into a blackened Amherst as a 33 point road favorite. I predict that line will change as the week progresses. Baylor is 2 - 0 against the spread and is coming off a 70 - 6 win over FCS Northwestern State out of Louisiana. The opening week Baylor beat fellow Texans SMU 45 -0. The Baylor defense is averaging 3 points scored against per game (see what my UB education did for me?) This just in, I had an incorrect score for PittBull and he was a second picker who entered thier pick for Army. Sorry PittBull for the offense.
I don't expect UB to win this game but I do expect UB to put some points on the board. Gone is Alex Neutz but let's see if UB has a receiver who truly steps up with consistency. This pick is like taking medicine, do it fast and get it over with.
I was at the stadium with Matt yesterday to catch a men's soccer game and I have to concur with many how great the turfs looks. Off topic, I am totally confused how an athlete can listen to country music before a game and get pumped up. OK I will get off my country hating bandwagon. Here is a brief video of the turf:
