Bulls in NFL Preseason Tracker

As preseason gets underway, track all the stats of the Bulls in NFL Preseason here.

Khalil Mack

Khalil Mack, the 5th overall pick continues to dazzle in Napa, California.

Week 1: At Minnesota. Friday, August 8, 8pm

Mack was quiet on the first series of the night but had two tackles and one for loss in the second. Those look to be his final numbers.

Week 2: Vs Detroit. Friday, August 15, 10pm

Khalil Mack had a better night in week 2, with 2 solo tackles, and his first NFL sack.

Week 3: At Green Bay. Friday, August 22, 8pm**

Mack had a signature night with 5 Tackles, 4 solo, 2 TFLs and an Interception. Four of Mack's tackles came against fellow UB Alum James Starks.

Week 4: Vs Seattle. Thursday, August 28, 10pm


James Starks

The vet entering his fifth year in the NFL re-signed with the Packers. He is slated to back up 2nd-year running back Eddie Lacy.

Week 1: At Tennessee. Saturday, August 9, 8pm

Green Bay decided to sit a good number of their starters, including Eddie Lacy. So Starks got the start and had a solid first quarter. On the night Starks rolled off 49 yards on six carries. The highlight was a 20 yard touchdown run.

Week 2: At St. Louis. Saturday, August 16, 4pm

Starks carried the ball 4 times for 9 yards.

Week 3: Vs Oakland. Friday, August 22, 8pm**

Starks ran 7 times for 9 yards, caught 2 balls for 32 yards and ran for a two-point conversion.

Week 4: Vs Kansas City. Thursday, August 28, 7pm


Branden Oliver

Neither the San Diego Union Tribune nor the SB Nation Bolts from Blue expect Oliver to make the 53 man roster. But the Bolts from Blue think SD fans will fall in love with Oliver this preseason. It's hard not to fall for the BOdozer.

Week 1: Vs Dallas. Thursday, August 7, 10pm

BO is the early star, breaking off a 27-yard run and a 16-yard Touchdown.

7 Carries, 64 Yards, 1 Touchdown.

Week 2: At Seattle. Friday, August 15, 10pm

Branden Oliver ran 9 times for 14 yards, and returned 3 kickoffs with a 16.3 yard return average.

Week 3: At San Francisco. Sunday August 24, 4pm

Week 4: Vs Arizona. Thursday, August 28, 10pm


Naaman Roosevelt

Naaman was cut by Detroit, but surprisingly picked up by his former team, the Buffalo Bills will he make the team again?

HOF vs New York Giants:

No Stats

Week 1: At Carolina. Friday, August 8, 7:30pm.**

13 Bills were targeted for a pass, but Naaman didn't see a target. To make matters worse, Naaman dropped an onside kick recovery attempt, almost costing the Bills the game.

Week 2: At Pittsburgh. Saturday, August 16, 7:30pm

Naaman had 1 catch for 9 yards.

Week 3: Vs Tampa Bay. Saturday, August 23, 4:30pm**

No Stats

Week 4: Vs Detroit. Thursday, August 28, 7pm.

Derek Brim

Former walk on safety from Buffalo. Finds himself playing for the hometown Bills.

HOF vs New York Giants:

Two half tackles in the fourth quarter against the Giants.

Week 1: At Carolina. Friday, August 8, 7:30pm.**

Derek was injured during this week's practice, did not play.

Week 2: At Pittsburgh. Saturday, August 16, 7:30pm

No Stats

Week 3: Vs Tampa Bay. Saturday, August 23, 4:30pm**

Brim had two tackles in the 4th Quarter.

Week 4: Vs Detroit. Thursday, August 28, 7pm.


Trevor Scott

Trevor excelled as a Raider, but struggled through injuries. Trevor gets a new start in the windy city.

Week 1: Vs Philadelphia. Friday, August 8, 8pm.

Trevor Scott notched 2 tackles against the Eagles.

Week 2: Vs Jacksonville. Thursday, August 14, 8pm

Scott had 4 solo tackles against the Jaguars.

Week 3: At Seattle. Friday, August 22, 10pm

Scott had a solo tackle and a QB hit against the Seahawks, playing mostly in the 2nd half.

Week 4: At Cleveland. Thursday, August 28, 8pm.



Josh Thomas

A hair brained play was Thomas' biggest impact in 2013. He'll have to step his game up in 2014 to remain a contributor on the Division winning Panthers squad.

Week 1: Vs Buffalo. Friday, August 8, 7:30pm.**

Thomas had one tackle and a penalty for defensive holding.

Week 2: Vs Kansas City. Sunday, August 17, 8pm

Josh Thomas had 1 pass defended in the fourth quarter.

Week 3: At New England. Friday, August 22, 7:30pm

Josh Thomas had 2 tackles, but also 2 penalties against.

Week 4: At Pittsburgh. Thursday, August 28, 7:30pm.


Steven Means

Steven Means fights for playing time in an upgraded Tampa defensive line unit.

Week 1: At Jacksonville. Friday, August 8, 7:30pm

Means had a solid day with 3 tackles, 2 Tackles for Loss and a Sack, the only sack of the day for the Buccs.

Week 2: Vs Miami. Saturday, August 16, 7:30pm

No Stats

Week 3: At Buffalo. Saturday, August 23, 4:30pm**

No Stats, however he made one notable play but was not credited with the sack:

Week 4: Vs Washington. Thursday, August 28, 7:30pm.


Jacob Schum

If Schum wins this job, he'll be busy. Jets will probably punt a lot in 2014.

Week 1: Vs Indianapolis. Thursday, August 7

Schum kicked two punts for 83 yards, one downed inside the twenty.

Week 2: At Cincinnati. Saturday, August 16, 7pm

Schum had 4 punts with an average distance of 39.3 yards

Week 3: Vs New York Giants. Friday, August 22, 7:30pm

Schum did not punt although he continued to serve as backup holder.

Schum was cut before week 4.
