Last season Adam Redden bursts onto the scenes as a do it all linebacker in Lou Tepper's defense. Playing opposite of Khalil Mack may have somewhat muted his press but even a fifth overall draft pick could not totally hide what Redden Accomplished.
Aside from Mack Redden was the key impact player for the Bulls. An injury kept him to 10 games, but the Junior started all 10. He ranked third on the team with 65 tackles and second onl to Mack in tackles for loss (12.5). He was third on the team with 4.5 sacks behind Khalil Mack and Colby Way.
He was a one man wrecking crew with recorded a career-high 17 tackles, including two tackles for a loss in the Bulls win over Stony Brook. Later in the season he was named MAC East Defensive player of the Week for the week and eventually put on the third team All MAC defensive squad.
This summer he was named to the Phil Steele's all MAC team and now he has been placed on the The Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List.
The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played in Mobile, Alabama which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects divided up into "North" and "South" teams. The two teams are coached by select coaching staff from two NFL teams. I
The week-long practice that precedes the game is attended by key NFL personnel (including coaches, general managers, and scouts), who oversee the players as possible prospects for pro football.
